The European Innovation Council (EIC) supports researchers and innovators developing breakthrough innovations. The new project Scaling Up Pilot launched by EIC will accompany deep tech startups to help them grow.

On the 12 October 2021, an ambitious investment plan called “France 2030” has been presented by the French President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron. Bpifrance will play a major role and will be involved in the investment of industry firms.

Between January and February 2022, Le French Design 100 Festival has rewarded 100 designers that reflect French design throughout the world. An opportunity to talk more about French creation, its “French Touch” and its new trends. 

In 2021 again, Bpifrance mobilized all its forces to support French economy. This last year focused on industry, tech innovation, and green transition.

In November 2021, the French leader in quantum photonics Quandela has raised €15 million from the deeptech investment fund Omnes, the Defence Innovation Fund managed by Bpifrance, and quantum technology dedicated fund Quantonation. With this operation, Quandela hopes to bring the first photonic quantum computer online in 2022.
