Bpifrance invests into innovation funds at any stage of maturity:

• Acceleration: funds targeting start-ups at a very early stage (sometimes even at their inception)

• Seed: funds targeting start-ups before their commercial proof of concept

• Venture Capital: funds targeting early, mid and late stage start-ups

• Growth Capital: funds targeting tech companies at their high-growth stage (build up, international expansion, etc.)

How to benefit from this product or activity?

There are no preferred sectors. Investments can be made in any innovative sector:

Targeted funds may be general funds covering a broad sector (digital, life sciences, energy transition, etc.), or specialised themes (medtech, fintech, agritech, etc.).
