Bpifrance invests into small-cap funds covering various investment strategies in order to be active in the structuring of the whole financing chain of French companies:

• Development and buy-out funds
• Turnaround and special situations funds
• Mezzanine funds and, exceptionally, private debt funds
• Impact funds

The strategies of such funds may have a general or sector-specific approach (e.g. healthcare, agro-industry), depending on the expertise and track record of management teams.
